Library Instruction SessionsRequest a library instruction session for your COMM 1020 section or other courses that you are teaching. We can introduce students to library resources, teach search strategies & research skills, and help with research assignments. You can also request a session by emailing Meli Taylor at taylolm@bgsu.edu
Library Spaces
Need a quiet space to study? Come to Jerome Library (1001 East Wooster St.)! We have a variety of spaces throughout our 8 floors that you can access as graduate students, including our 8th floor Faculty Reading Room.

Browne Popular Culture LibraryCheck out the Pop Culture Library on the 4th floor for primary source materials on pop culture and media

Music Library & Bill Schurk Sound ArchivesWith almost a million recordings, the Music Library & Bill Schurk Sound Archives (MLBSSA) is the largest collection of popular music in an academic library in North America. Our recordings include 45s, 78s, 33s, LPs, reel-to-reel tapes, cassette tapes and CDs. The sound recording collection is supported by books, scores, video/film, hard-to-find periodicals, fanzines, promotional material and archival collections.

The Learning Commons (LC)The LC is the main learning support center on campus. It provides academic support services to all BGSU students. Services provided by LC are divided into the following categories: academic coaching, study skills, subject tutoring, supplemental instruction, and writing.
