Persistent Links to Articles: Oxford Music Online (Grove)

Learn how to create persistent links to articles in BGSU library databases that will work from on or off campus.

Persistent Links in Oxford Music Online

Oxford Music Online

The URL in your address bar will work as a persistent link.

When you access an article from a search, your search terms are highlighted, and the persistent link contains a question mark followed by q. For example: http://www.oxfordmusiconline.com/subscriber/article/grove/music/14122?q=copyright&search=quick&pos=7&_start=1#firsthit. To remove the highlighting, copy the URL just up to ?q, the part in bold in this example - don't copy ?q itself.

If you are ON CAMPUS, you will need to add the EZProxy Prepend at the beginning of the url so the link is accessible from OFF CAMPUS:
http://ezproxy.bgsu.edu/login?url=
