Zines and the BPCL

All about zines, the resources in the Browne Popular Culture Library, and elsewhere!

Donating Zines

Have you made zines? Do you have a personal zine library you're looking to downsize or donate? If so, please consider donating to the Browne Popular Culture Library?

We have 5,000 zines and are always looking to grow, especially for zines that cover specific areas. As one of the most comprehensive and distinctive library and archives of American popular culture and the study of daily life, the BPCL relies on donations to continue having nationally recognized collections.

If you are a zinester, zine collector, or artist/writer/creator and are interested in donating, please contact us and let us know what kinds of zines you have, if you are the creator or a collector, and how many zines you want to donate and we will follow up with you directly via email.

Examples of some zines and subjects that may be good for BPCL:
