Search the catalog using keywords
In combination with a word that describes the job, profession, career, or industry in which you are interested, try some of these keywords or phrases:
career development
career guidance
employment
job
vocational guidance
occupation
Pro tip: Once you find a relevant book in your list, click on the title. Pay attention to the subject headings listed in the catalog record (description) for that book. Click on any subject heading to go to a list of books with the same subject heading.
Librarians describe and categorize books and other items with a controlled vocabulary, or subject headings. You can find books by occupation or discipline with the subheading "Vocational Guidance". A few examples:
To limit your search to eBooks, use "material type" dropdown box to select eBooks from the menu.
