Finding Fiction & Nonfiction in the CRC Juvenile Literature Collection

To find fiction titles, use the BGSU Libraries Catalog and include the keyword fiction in your search. Pair this word with another concept and you will get results. Here are some examples of keyword searches:

  • juvenile fiction and communities
  • juvenile fiction and spiders
  • juvenile fiction and hurricanes

Read through the descriptions of the results to determine the grade level of the book and then jot down the call number and authors last name to take with you to the shelf.

To find nonfiction titles, use the BGSU Libraries Catalog by simply entering keywords that describe your topic. Unfortunately, adding the word nonfiction to your search is not helpful. It may be easier to browse the shelf by the Dewey Call number system instead.
