Strategic Communication: Home

Welcome!

Welcome to the research guide for Strategic Communication! The guide is broken into tabs to facilitate your discovery of key resources and concepts. Contact me if you have recommendations or corrections for this guide.

Getting help

As your librarian, I encourage you to reach out to me directly if you'd like a general introduction/refresher on using the library. You can also contact me for help in researching for a particular assignment. I am available to assist remotely by phone, chat, or Zoom. You can make an appointment with me or reach out via email at taylolm@bgsu.edu. If you require an evening or weekend appointment, please contact me via email to make individual arrangements.

You can also get general assistance from librarians and our undergraduate student assistants via chat, phone, or in-person

Off Campus Tips

It can be helpful to login before you begin your research using BGSU resources. While not required, it can be particularly useful when searching in Summon. If you're not already logged in, you'll be prompted to login before accessing the database or full text.

Most logins use your BGSU SSO information. This is the same way you sign into MyBGSU. Use your username (without the @bgsu.edu) and your password.

Occasionally, you might be asked to login in a different method. Certain OhioLINK resources may have you use your ID and name. Other databases may ask you to first identify your institution before prompting a login.

Unfortunately, sometimes problems arise in using library resources. We can usually resolve these for you quickly if you reach out to us
