We can work with you to help improve the quality of your students' research assignments. Below are a few of the possible ways we can further integrate library resources and instruction into your course:
IN A MODULE
Your librarian can prepare a module containing links to library resources and supporting information such as tutorials and handouts. Modules can also include assessments such as quizzes or assignments. Any components can be modified or removed as needed.
AS A STANDALONE CONTENT PAGE
Library resources and supporting materials can also be formatted as a content page.
Contact your instruction librarian/team to discuss what kind of Canvas integration would work best for your courses. If you are not sure who is your librarian, contact Vera Lux at vlux@bgsu.edu or 419-806-5808
You can also create your own module using the persistent and proxied links to resources listed in the Content to Embed in Canvas tab.
What’s an Embedded Librarian?
An embedded librarian is a librarian that is integrated into an online class for a period of time to support the students in their research process.
Why do I need an embedded librarian?
Many students need help knowing what resources and services are available to them. An embedded librarian will provide support for these students.
