Evidence Based Practice - What is evidence based practice (EBP)

Sackett et al. (1996) defined evidence-based practice (EBP) as "the conscientious, explicit and judicious use of current best evidence in making decisions about the care of the individual patient" (p. 71).  Sackett, D.
