Getting Started at the University Libraries

  • Borrowing Items

  • Off-campus access to the online research databases

    • Login in with Single Sign On (your BGSU user name and password)
  • Borrowing from other libraries

    • OhioLINK is the 80+ academic (and some public) libraries that lend their resources to one another through an online requesting system. Look for the "Request this item" button in the OhioLINK catalog. For more detailed information, see OhioLINK requesting.
    • Interlibrary loan is also available for book and PDF copies of articles and book chapters from libraries outside of Ohio.

    • If you need help using the library, can't find what you want, have an assignment and need help getting started, Ask Us! for immediate help. Besides drop-in help at the Information Desk, the University Libraries offer in person or virtual Research Appointments for undergraduates & graduate students.

Did you know?

BGSU's Center for Archival Collections is home to the National Student Affairs Archives

The collection comprises the institutional papers of numerous national, regional, and state (Ohio/Michigan) professional associations, the private collections of several individuals who have been extremely active in the field, and a cataloged library of books and pamphlets.
