Welcome to BGSU's Virtual Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon

In an effort to increase representation of queer women of color on Wikipedia and participation of underrepresented populations, BGSU's Center for Women and Gender Equity and University Libraries are co-hosting a virtual Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon. All Bowling Green and BGSU community members are encouraged to participate. Not sure what to contribute? That's okay. We have suggestions.

1. Become a Wikipedia editor

Please read the following documentation before editing Wikipedia. The next tab, labeled training, includes tutorials about the mechanics of actually editing or adding references to a Wikipedia article.

2. Not sure what to edit?

Option 1: This document contains some suggested Wikipedia articles that need to be updated with information from reliable sources.

Option 2: Browse some of the sources on the "resources" tab. Use the information to add content, references, or suggestions for further reading in related Wikipedia articles.
