Nontraditional Students: Home

This is a guide for Nontraditional students. Nontraditional students are typically those who have had a break in their schooling, have dependents, are veterans, and/or are working full-time. You are not alone.

Getting Started

You are not alone in wanting to finish your degree.  Many students have started or returned to college after taking a break after high school.  The goal is to help you graduate.

This is a guide not only to help you use the library's resources, but contains links that will help you along your academic career.

Website With Helpful Links

Here is a short article full of helpful links for the growing numbers of nontraditional students.

Jerome LibraryWelcome to the William T. Jerome Library!

Come in and see what we can do for you, or take our virtual tour first.

The purpose of this guide is twofold.  It is designed to (1) help you navigate the library website to find books, articles, music and other library resources, and (2) to be a guide to various non-library resources useful during your time here at Bowling Green State University.

Sometimes there is a LibGuide specific to your class.  These guides will help you find suggested databases and other resources to use.  These course guides are especially helpful for papers and projects, as they are created after consulting your professor and the syllabus of your specific classes.

Check the LibGuide homepage and scroll through the class listings on the left.
