Welcome to the BGSU APA Style LibGuide.
The Style Manual has recently been updated to the 7th edition (2020). Refer to your instructor about which version should be used.
Here you'll find information about citing books, periodicals, newspapers, and electronic material in your APA reference page, as well as links to information about in-text citation formats. There are additional types of sources that you might be interested in citing. For those sources we recommend referring to the APA Publication Manual, the APA Style website, or the Purdue OWL's APA Style Guide (linked below).
RefWorks is a powerful citation management software that allows users to save and curate lists of citations to books, articles, websites, and more, and automatically format bibliographies in a wide variety of citation styles.
