You can search for zines at BGSU by performing a keyword search or a subject search (using fan magazines) in the BGSU Libraries Catalog.

BGSU has created local subject headings for our zine holdings as another way to find zines.

• For personal zines use perzines
• For review zines use reviewzines
• For letter zines use letterzines
• For music zines use musiczines
• For diplomacy zines use dipzines
• For art zines use artzines
• For slash zines use slashzines
• For D.I.Y. (Do It Yourself) zines use d.i.y.zines

Zines are located in the Browne Popular Culture Library and in the Music Library and Sound Recordings Archives and can be found by using various methods. All zines are non-circulating.

1. All cataloged zines in both collections can be searched by title in the BGSU Libraries Catalog.
2. Personal zines can be searched by author in most cases as well as by title.
3. All zines can be searched by subject under Fan magazines . They can also be searched with other subjects like science fiction periodicals, fantasy fiction periodicals, rock music periodicals, etc.
