Non-Music Recordings

The Music Library and Sound Recordings Archives own a large number of non-music recordings including spoken word, sound effects, advertising, sermons, and much more.  The easiest way to find these is by narrowing any search by material type "Spoken Work Recording."

Click on the tabs above for specific instructions on finding a number of different types of non-music recordings in BGSU's Music Library and Sound Recordings Archives.  Most of these will be 12-inch vinyl records that you may listen to in the Music Library.  Please speak to a staff member if you need to include an excerpt from a recording in a class presentation.
