Record Listening Club invites faculty, staff, and students from across campus to select an album that has personal meaning to them from the Bill Schurk Sound Archives collection and then lead a group discussion. We are excited to announce that we will be partnering with the Wood County District Public Library to present a Record Listening Club series to local tweens and teens as part of their summer reading program, Libraries ROCK! All events are on Friday afternoons from 4pm-5pm in the teen area of the downtown Bowling Green location.
June 22: Dave Lewis, Sound Archivist, will teach you all about the history of sound recording and you'll get the chance to spin some records.
July 6: Jacqueline Hudson, graduate student in American Culture Studies, will lead a discussion of Bruno Mars' 24K Magic.
July 27: Katelyn Balkum, graduate student in Popular Culture, will lead a discussion of 5 Seconds of Summer's Youngblood.
