Welcome to your class guide!

This semester, you will practice several kinds of writing, and also provide a great service to Bowling Green by helping the BG Community Gardens. Use this guide to help you get ideas for class assignments, from brochure making to discovering a new food trend or revolution.

So,what's a community garden?

According to the American Community Gardening Association, a community garden is simply "Any piece of land gardened by a group of people."

The Bowling Green Community Gardens are more than group gardens, though. They are maintained by a service-based group in BG that donates much of the produce to area food pantries.
