ACRL Library Survey

The ACRL Academic Library Trends and Statistics Survey is administered by the ACRL Academic Library Trends and Statistics Survey Editorial Board and is the largest survey of academic libraries in the country, providing one of the most comprehensive portraits of the impact that academic libraries have across the U.S.

IPEDS Academic Libraries Survey

The Academic Libraries Survey collects information on library resources, services, and expenditures from academic libraries serving degree-granting, Title IV postsecondary institutions in the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the outlying areas. Data is collected annually through IPEDS.

National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE)

The National Survey of Student Engagement Experiences with Information Literacy module asks students about their use of information and how much their instructors emphasized the proper use of information sources. This module complements questions on the core survey about higher-order learning and how much writing students do.
