To get expanded company reports from Hoover's (Basic Report and In-Depth Report) listing industry competitors and more, use the main search box Enter company name and in the Source box press Find

Enter Hoover's and choose the Hoover's reports that you want.

In the Hoover's Basic Record, you can scroll down to see a list of competitiors, among other useful information.

Use  the Get Company Information search box on the right side of the screen to find company reports from the business press including a snapshot with contact information and a brief dsecription.  The company snapshot will include a NAICS code for the company from a reputable source, although it may not be Hoover's

This database is a great starting place, since you often find private companies and subsidiaries here as well as those traded on the stock markets.
