The two links below will lead you to a variety of links to data resources. Included are resources such as Global Health Data, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Health Surveys, and Tools for Data Collection and Planning.
For the HealthLandscape website, I suggest that you use the left-side pull down, look for QuickMaps and then click on the bar labeled QuickMaps. Then click on the MAP IT button. Select the Tools button pull-down. Mark the check-boxes by the QuickMaps and also the ACS QuickMaps (5-year). Close the Tools pull-down. On the right side-bar, you can now select a characteristic to view on the map.
For the Mapping America: Every City, Every Block website, click on the View More Maps button. This will allow you to select from one of four topics: Race & Ethnicity, Income, Housing and Families, and Education.
See Ohio County Profiles and other statistics from the Office of Policy Research and Strategic Planning within Ohio's Department of Development.
For data from other states consult the Guide to State Statistical Abstracts and State Information, which is Appendix D, within the State and Metropolitan Area Data Book: 2010.
