Columbia Records

After signing on with Columbia Records, Cash had great success as an artist. It was his time at Columbia that made Johnny Cash a music legend. During this time, he toured extensively often doing several shows a week. This quickly led to drug addiction and the demise of his first marriage.  Cash remained with Columbia until 1986, when he was dropped from the label.
