Entrepreneurship Resources: Getting Copies of Information

Intended to guide BA 2040 classes in finding information on which to base a winning proposal for funding.

How Do I Get Material at BG?

To borrow items from the libraries, you need your BGSU photo ID and a current record in the library database. For more detailed information, see Borrowing, Renewing, and Requesting.

For remote access to the online research databases, after clicking on the link to the database, you sign in with your BGSU email username and password.

Getting Copies:  BGSU students, faculty and staff may

  • Print electronic content onsite at the library or save it to a storage device
  • Scan content for emailing, printing, or digital storage
  • Photocopy material

Getting What BG Doesn't Have

  1. If you don't find a book or other kind of resource (video, DVD, etc.) here, chances are that OhioLINK has it. 80+ OhioLINK academic (and some public) libraries will lend many of the items you need. Look for the "Request this item" button in the OhioLINK catalog and fill in the brief form. For more detailed information, see OhioLINK requesting.
  2. For magazine or journal articles not available at BGSU, use Illiad You generally will receive a copy quickly (two days to a week) providing some OhioLINK library has the material. Going outside our consortium is an option but it takes longer.
