Proximity Searches

Proximity searching allows the finding of words that are a specific distance away. To perform a proximity search use the tilde, "~", symbol at the end of a phrase. For example, to search liner notes for "percussion" and "Switzerland" within 5 words of each other, use the search query:

"percussion Switzerland"~5 (default field on the pull-down menu is liner notes)
