Browsing/Searching

DRAM allows users to browse works by composer, performer, ensemble, instrument, or record label. Instruments are further subdivided.

DRAM's "quick search" allows the user to perform a directed keyword search by entering a query and then specifying one of nine fields from the pull-down menu. For example, to search for works performed by Charles Ives: type in his name in the search box, specify the "performers" field and click go.

DRAM does not feature an integrated advanced search tool, so advanced searches must be implemented manually. Each of the above tabs contains instructional videos adapted from DRAM’s advanced search tips that will detail several advanced search strategies.
