Company Web Sites

Company web sites are a great source of information -- not only about products and operations -- but also about company efforts to promote such benefits to society as education and diversity among staff and/or suppliers. Remember, however, that one of the primary purposes is to put the company's best foot forward. Company sites generally cannot be relied on for as objective a view of strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities as an independently written report or news article.

Don't expect to see any indication on the company website of a discussion about problems at Campbell's.
