Finding YA in the CRC

Use the Children's Literature Comprehensive Database to limit to age group.

This will give you a list of all YA books on a topic or by an author.  Click "Check to see if your library holds this title" and if we don't, click the teal "Search OhioLINK" button and order it.

Use our catalog and limit search to Curriculum Resource Center.

Once you are looking at a record you can open "full record" and note the number of pages to determine grade level, or click on "reviews and more" to read reviews which often list a grade level.

Picture Books for YA

Teens and adults enjoy picture books.  Some of the following are written specifically for teens, others are written for all ages, and some are for children but are often enjoyed by older readers.

Ask a Question

You can borrow the required reading for the Adolescent Literature class (ENG 3450).  First come, first serve for the BGSU copies and more copies available on OhioLink.  Click on the tab (above, right) to check availability or use our catalog.
